ROBD

The Environics® Series Reduced Oxygen Breathing Device simulates altitude exposure and can be utilized for both research and training purposes. The U. S. Navy currently uses the ROBD to train aircrew to recognize the signs and symptoms of hypoxia and to perform the appropriate emergency procedures and additionally, conducts hypoxia research.

The ROBD2 utilizes a smaller display and softkey user interface, and can also be controlled remotely from a computer (not included). The ROBD3 is a custom-unit and must controlled entirely from a larger touch screen, which not only simplifies programming, but also additional testing details to be displayed.

NOW AVAILABLE! In addition to hypoxia training, the ROBD "Hot Key" feature allows you to simulate a failure in back up emergency oxygen. This is available for all existing and new ROBD. Contact us today for more information!

Key Features of both Models Include:

  • A new pulse oximeter with touch screen interface
  • Enter one flow rate for all altitudes between 40 and 80 LPM
  • Breathing bag is replaced with an internal reservoir, generating a faster refresh rate to the mask.
  • Addition of an inline Oxygen filter.
  • Pulse ox probe connection moved to the rear of the chassis
  • HRT is the only program type.

Products

The Environics® Series 6100 consists of a single chassis supporting up to three (3) thermal mass flow controllers, an ozone generation module, a mixing zone, a reaction chamber for gas phase titration and control electronics. The instrument may also be remotely operated using contact closures or the RS-232 serial data interface, both of which are standard in the Series 6100.

New options include 24V operation and a dedicated ammonia circuit. Contact us for more information!

ROBD2

The Environics® Series 6103 consists of a single chassis supporting up to three (3) thermal mass flow controllers, an ozone generation module, photometer, glass output manifold, mixing chamber, a reaction chamber for gas phase titration and control electronics. Like the Series 6100, the Series 6103 may also be remotely operated using contact closures or the RS-232 serial data interface.

ROBD3

The Environics® Series 9100 Computerized Ambient Monitoring Calibration System consists of a single chassis supporting up to three (3) thermal mass flow controllers, an ozone generation module, a mixing zone, a reaction chamber for gas phase titration and control electronics. The Series 9100 is operated through a large, worksheet format screen or may be remotely operated using optional contact closures or the RS-232 serial data interface.
