Today, we’ll return to our peek into the people who are Environics with Terry, our President.
Terry graduated from Boston College in 1964 and joined Sylvania Electronics as a Management Trainee. He has worked with a variety of companies, improving sales and promoting growth and diversification. He was President of American Communications, a company that focused on providing communication technology to the deaf community. He was Executive Vice President of Eastern Electronics, an electronic sub-contracting company, and President of National Patent Analytical Systems, which manufactures the Datamaster, a breath alcohol analyzing device.
In 1994, Terry joined Environics. Since
then, he has helped to double our annual revenue and triple our stockholder’s equity. His focus is on our goal of long term growth by satisfying our customers’ needs for precise gas mixing and calibration systems. This includes overseeing the development of new systems as well as enhancemenets to current systems. Currently, Terry is investigating new opportunities for growth for Environics both through new applications and new products.
When asked about his favorite part of his job, Terry said, “I truly enjoy my interaction with our customers and our employees. To be able to provide job security while providing innovative products to our customers brings me great satisfaction.”
In his spare time, Terry enjoys being outside and spending time at Cape Cod. He is also a big sports fan, with his favorites being the Red Sox and UConn Women’s Basketball.
